Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Yarrow Foods and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
