Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Louisville, KY)

Bluepeak Ivory Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Louisville, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
