Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Kansas City, MO)

Lumen River Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Kansas City region, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
