Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Stone Farms Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
