Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Bridge Transit Planning Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
