Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Jackson, MS)

Northwind Oak Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
