Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Jackson, MS)

Foxglove Harbor Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
