Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Drift Environmental Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
