Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Summit Manufacturing Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
