Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Summit Manufacturing Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 916 people based in Houston. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
