Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Houston, TX)

Nova Bridge Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Houston, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Houston. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
