Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Grand Rapids, MI)

Summit Fox Auto Group is a Grand Rapids company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
