Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Fort Worth, TX)

Northwind Meridian Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Fort Worth region, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
