Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Detroit, MI)

Foxglove Meridian Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Detroit. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
