Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Columbus, OH)

Bright Keystone Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Columbus, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
