Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Columbus, OH)

Fernwood Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure.
