Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Cleveland, OH)

Silverline Harbor Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Cleveland, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
