Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Cleveland, OH)

Clearpath West Freight is a Cleveland logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
