Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Clear Farms and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
