Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Charlotte, NC)

Stonegate Glen Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Charlotte region. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
