Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Boise, ID)

Northwind Logistics is a Boise food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 100 people based in Boise. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
