Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Birmingham, AL)

Fernwood Quill Energy is an energy provider in Birmingham focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Track performance measures for usage data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
