Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Austin, TX)

Westbrook Union Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Austin working with agencies and riders, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Austin. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
