Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Lumen Lakeside Energy and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 373 people based in Austin. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
