Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Ivory Transit Planning and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 296 people based in Austin. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
