Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Ivory Transit Planning and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
