Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Anchorage, AK)

Harborlight Iron Auto Group is a Anchorage company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
