Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Wichita, KS)

Summit Corner Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Wichita. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for warranty claims and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
