Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Tampa, FL)

Fernwood Meridian Foods Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
