Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight West Inspection Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
