Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Oak Foods is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 61 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
