Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Rochester, NY)

Highbridge Union Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Rochester, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
