Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Richmond, VA)

Ironwood Ivory Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Richmond. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
