Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Reno, NV)

Amberfield Ashton Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Reno. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
