Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Lakeside Freight and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
