Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Fernwood Bridge Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Miami region, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
