Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Transit Planning Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
