Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Bluepeak Kestrel Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
