Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Northwind Sable Manufacturing Partners is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
