Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Ironwood Harbor Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Philadelphia, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We reward reliability. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
