Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Bluepeak Bridge Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Hartford region. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
