Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Yarrow Environmental Services Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 255 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
