Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Junction Water Authority and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
