Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Bright Pine Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Raleigh. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
