Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Ironwood Keystone Transit Planning Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
