Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Westbrook Cedar Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Jacksonville design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
