Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Rivermark Harbor Freight is a Houston logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
