Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Highbridge Drift Freight is a Hartford logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We reward reliability. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
