Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Summit Cobalt Construction Associates is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 154 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
