Senior Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Summit Environmental Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
